My role: Executive Producer & Curator —
The City of Aachen commissioned me and the artist collective The String Theory to execute a songwriting and recording workshop with local teenage artists and subsequent public performances. From a first rough draught to premiere concert within a week.
I organized and curated the project in collaboration with the city’s cultural department. I hired technicians, selected musicians, negotiated fees, and managed the entire logistics of the workshop.
The performances were conceptualized in collaboration with the dance troupe Irène K and the visual artists Christina Vantzou (Brussels) and Chérie (Berlin). The recordings were released as an album.
